Biography
Elisa Biolchini is a PhD student in Architecture at the Urban and Regional Development program at the Polytechnic University of Turin (Italy). She is a researcher and serves as Graduate Teaching Assistant
Research Interests
Elisa investigates how the application of scientific hypothesis and tools to daily spaces’ design (houses, public spaces) can improve people’s quality of life. Her main fields of interest are healthy city, climate justice and mitigation strategies to address extreme heat. She aims at integrating scientific digital tools to map and visualize spatial and microclimatic data to support urban planning in making "cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable" (SDG11).
